Mabra Law to Sponsor Events Honoring Tifton’s Black Pioneers

The Atlanta-based firm, with offices in Tifton and Warner Robins, will sponsor a reception and exhibition experience that honors the contributions of the late Frank T. Nixon and his son Solomon Nixon Sr. The father-son duo were scions of Black entrepreneurship and empowerment throughout Georgia, from the 1920s through the Civil Rights Movement and beyond. The reception immediately follows dedication of a historic marker, which will become part of the Georgia Civil Rights Trail.
