Upson County, GA -17-Year-Old Died in Two-Vehicle Car Accident
Upson County, Georgia (August 15, 2023) - Deputies responded to a fatal car accident on Yatesville Highway near Trinity Road.
When deputies arrived to the accident scene, they discovered a 17-year-old girl from Yatesville had died.
According to a preliminary investigation, the 17-year-old was westbound on Yatesville Highway when a second vehicle was turning eastbound from Trinity Road.
The second vehicle came to a stop in the 17-year-old's lane as she crested the hill before Trinity Road.
The 17-year-old lost control of her vehicle as she swerved to avoid the second vehicle.
