Atlanta, GA – Fiery Crash Shuts Down Lanes on I-85
Atlanta, Georgia (May 19. 2023) - Due to a serious crash Friday evening, Gwinnett County Police had closed all northbound lanes south of Jimmy Carter Boulevard.
Officials expected the road to be closed for several hours while crews cleared it and investigated the accident scene.
Drivers said they did not move their vehicles for nearly an hour. Some had even turned their off their cars as they waited for the crash to be cleared.
