Atlanta, Georgia (February 16, 2023) - According to police, a person died after being hit by a train early Thursday morning in southwest Atlanta.
The fatal accident occurred on the tracks near Ralph Abernathy Boulevard and West Whitehall Street shortly before 4:15 a.m.
Police say they are unable to identify the victim's gender because of the condition of their body. At this time, the victim has not been identified.
