Atlanta, GA – Truck Hits Fire Hydrant Shutting Down Road
Atlanta, Georgia (April 2, 2023) - After a truck smashed into a fire hydrant early Sunday morning, Atlanta drivers were advised to avoid Chamblee Tucker Road.
Crews from the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management (DWM) had to repair a section of the roadway damaged by water pressure as a result of the crash.
According to the DWM, water to the fire hydrant was turned off fairly quickly. The accident, they said, would have no effect on water service.
