Macon, GA – Woman Injured After Crashing With A Truck
Macon, GA (Sept. 20, 2023) – A traffic accident on September 18 involving a logging truck is still being looked into by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. At the intersection of Broadway and Guy Paine Road, the collision occurred just before noon.
A 28-year-old Warner Robins woman was traveling north on Broadway, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. She was following a logging truck when the truck pulled onto Guy Paine Road and struck her Honda car.
According to deputies, the Honda veered off the road, colliding with a tree and a parked, unoccupied patrol car from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. A newborn baby and the Honda’s driver were sent to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. According to the report, the driver was in critical condition. The infant was identified as stable.
The logging truck’s driver allegedly did not stop, according to deputies. Investigations into the traffic accident are still going on.
