Rome, GA – Publics Works Truck Rear-Ended by a Car
Rome, Georgia (July 21, 2023) - According to the Georgia State Patrol Post in Rome, a Chattooga County Public Works truck was involved in an accident on Mountain View Road on Thursday.
According to state troopers, a Ford Focus was pulling a four-wheeler eastbound and failed to notice the stopped county public works truck. The driver of the Focus looked back at the four-wheeler they were towing and rear-ended the public works pickup. The female four-wheeler driver suffered minor injuries.
Neither the driver of the Ford Focus nor the driver of the public works truck were injured.
According to arrest reports, the 34-year-old Ford Focus driver was arrested and charged by the Georgia State Patrol for following too closely and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
