Warner Robins, GA (December 9, 2022) - A Warner Robins man is dead after being involved in a Motorcycle Accident on Thursday, December 8, 2022.
The collision took place at approximately 10 o'clock in the evening at the Carl Vinson Parkway and Elberta Road intersection.
On Carl Vinson Parkway, the motorcycle was heading south when it was involved in an accident with a car that was turning left from Elberta Road.
The 20-year-old man who was driving the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the coroner on Friday morning.
The condition of the vehicle driver is unknown at this time.
The Houston County Sheriff's Office Traffic Division is still investigating the accident.
Motorcycle collisions are among the most severe and potentially lethal types of vehicle accidents that can take place.
Motorcycles don't have the same safety features as other cars, and most accidents involving motorcycles happen when the rider is going very fast. Because of these things, motorcycle accident victims who don't die often have very bad neck and back injuries, broken bones, and head injuries.
When another driver's carelessness causes a motorcycle accident, the victim has the right to sue for their losses. If, on the other hand, a motorcyclist dies in the accident, their family can sue the other driver for wrongful death if they were at fault.
If you want to file a claim for personal injury or wrongful death, you should hire an attorney who has experience handling these types of cases.
If you don't have a lawyer, it can be very difficult to obtain the full amount of compensation that you're owed.
